Winners of the Kids Art Competition
Juan de Fuca Salmon Restoration Society is pleased to announce the winners of the KIDS ART COMPETITION which we organized at the Fred Milne Field in support of the community’s All Sooke Day Picnic Event. The four children who each won $50.00 cash prizes in the art competition were: Hannah Pope, Sienna Bancroft. Mya Daly, Karlow Blonde. We are grateful to the judges, MLA Dana Lajeunesse, T’Sou-ke Chief Larry Underwood, Mayor Maja Tait and Regional Director Allan Wickheim for making the difficult decisions. We also express our congratulations to the Sooke Community Association, organizers of the community spirit event, which was successful despite the challenging weather.
